Luigi Galloni, M.D. | Orthopedic Surgeon

Adult Reconstructive/Joint Replacement

Dr. Luigi F. Galloni received his MD from Universidad del Zulia in Maracaibo, Venezuela in 1973, where he completed a surgical residency in the university’s hospital. He completed his surgical internship at Middlesex General Hospital in New Jersey and an orthopedic residency at New York Medical College. He then completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction surgery and total joint replacement at the Orthopedic Hospital in LA in 1982-3. Dr. Galloni practices in various capacities, both independently and as part of several clinics and hospitals. He has also held the position as the director of a physical therapy center. Dr. Galloni is a Qualified Medical Examiner (QME) in the State of California and provides expert medical-legal evaluations. He is fluent in Spanish, Italian and French.

David Barba, M.D. | Orthopedic Surgeon

Sports Medicine

 

Dr David Barba received his MD from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 2009. He has completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Indiana University in 2014. He also completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Banner Good Samaritan in Phoenix, AZ in 2014-5. Dr. Barba has received numerous awards/honors for outstanding research, presentations and publications relating to sports medicine orthopedic surgery. His professional society memberships include: Arthroscopy association, orthopedic society for sports medicine and orthopedic trauma, UCLA Latino Medical Student Association, Golden Key International Honor Society and more. Some of his hobbies/interests include cooking, jogging, weightlifting and various recreational sports. He is also fluent in Spanish.

Richard Rogachefsky, M.D. | Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon

 

Upper Extremity/Hand Specialist

Dr. Richard Rogachefsky received his MD from The Chicago Medical School/University of Health Science in 1987. He has completed a surgical internship at the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1987-8 and has completed an orthopedic residency at UM in 1988-92. Dr. Rogachefsky has also completed a post doctoral fellowship at the University of South Florida/Tampa General Hospital in 1992-3. He is licensed to practice in CA, FL and NY. Dr. Rogachefsky has held certifications as a diplomate and fellow of the ABOS (1996), and certificate of added qualification for surgery of the hand (1996, 2004). He is a current member of the FL medical association, FL hand society, NY medical society, osteoarthritis and cartilage research society, NY society for surgery of the hand, NY orthopedic society, fellow of the American College of Surgeons (1997). He has produced numerous publications of articles, books and monographs since 1993. 

Matthew Nalamlieng, DPM. | Orthopedic Surgeon

Foot and Ankle Specialist

 

Dr. Matthew Nalamlieng received his DPM from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona in 2014. He received his undergraduate degree in 2008 from The Master's College. Dr. Nalamlieng holds certifications in ACL and BLS. He is a member of the Pi Delta Honor Society, American Podiatric Committee, American Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Board of Podiatric Medicine, American Public Health Association and Western University College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a 3-year integrated Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with added credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery (PMSR/RRA) at the White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. During this time he focused on advanced treatment of foot and ankle sports injuries, lower extremity trauma, joint replacement for end stage ankle arthritis and reconstruction of complex foot and ankle deformities. He served as a member of the Center for Limb Preservation & Advanced Wound Care at White Memorial treating complex lower extremity deformity related to diabetes and peripheral vascular disease. As chief resident, he completed training at USC Keck Medical Center with the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery service learning advanced techniques in lower extremity reconstruction. Dr. Nalamlieng’s clinical focus and expertise are on treatment of all forms of foot and ankle injuries and deformities including bunion and hammertoe deformity, flatfoot deformity, ankle arthritis and joint reconstruction. His research interests extend further into primary soft tissue injury and reconstructive algorithms of acute lower extremity trauma.

John Giannini, PA-C| Certified Physicians Assistant

John R. Giannini earned his Bachelor of Science Degree at California State University San Bernardino in 1981. He then completed the physician assistant program and internship at USC in 1977-79. Since then he has worked as a physician’s assistant in many capacities, including Occupational Health, Pain Management and Orthopedic Surgery. John also has various experience/certifications as an EMT from Loma Linda University in 1975, a paramedic certification in 1976 and obtained his AS degree in applied Science in 1979. John has also completed a physician assistant internship program at USC LA county medical center for orthopedic surgery in 1979-80. Some appointments include adjunct professor and clinical instructor physician assistant training program at Western University Health Science in 1996-2001. John has certifications and professional memberships in the CA academy of physicians assistants, American Society of Orthopedic Physicians  Assistants, Health Volunteers Overseas, Orthopedics Overseas, PAOS through AAOS, and AAPA Fellow Member. Some of his interests/hobbies include golfing, sports, relaxing, and cooking.
